Brian J. Liu
With the belief that all students can learn music, Brian Liu’s students have excelled under his guidance. Awards won by students include Augusta Youth Orchestra’s “Most Improved”, Georgia Music Teacher Association’s Final round for All-state Orchestra, and Associate Concertmistress of the Augusta Youth Orchestra.
His unique teaching philosophy brings together a blend of methods. He is a registered Suzuki teacher and has traveled to the United Kingdom for certification in the ColourStrings method. By drawing on this and his performance experience, he is uniquely qualified to tailer a program of study for each student.
He continuously seeks to improve his teaching by participating in teacher enrichment and certification through the American String Teacher’s Association, Suzuki Association of America, and ColourStrings.
He is accepting a limited number of students in Columbia, MD.
